2019 -> only one place left to go

2018 does not fade quietly into the sunset, with oranges, reds and gradually darkening skies… No. It instead explodes in blue, white and yellow. A fitting finale.

Arriving at this ending together, we stand differently equipped and wildly opinioned.  We peer out from our yellow-vested attire, camouflaged in shocking color, shielded behind our screens and numbers of followers. We band together in groups now, holding one hand up in solidarity while the other points out, blames and ultimately divides. We hate easily and immediately, almost routinely.

Social media competes for shock value and click bait. Not much shocks us, and less than that is trusted. Beheading, cannibalism, environmental destruction for greed, religious persecution, murder, torture, lies under oath, pedophilia, human medical experimentation, money laundering, fraud, financial market manipulation, human trafficking, global corporate control, UFO cover-ups, treason; how many of these you believe will decide which label you wear, and who you will align yourself with.

This experiment has reached its conclusion. It could not end without our cooperation, and we are compliant subjects. It was never a question of who would win. Ultimately, there is only One.

What is at question though, is the condition of the subjects once we got here.

You see, once all of the sides have been exposed and explored and hated and loved and believed and denied and stood on, what’s left is seeing things from every side.  Joni Mitchell said it quite well. She narrowed it down to “both sides now”, yet truly, once you notice there is more than one side as a valid option, then the next obvious thing is to notice that there are no sides at all. There is only One.

We are as divided as we’ll ever be. There is no place left to go, except together.

We must notice our humanity. In every case and at all times. This is the how we take control of ourselves, our relationships, our families, our countries, our planet. It is here where we are united. It is here where we stand, sit, crawl or walk together.

Once noticed, it must be cherished, cared for, looked after, realized and promoted. It is the one, and perhaps in today’s society, the ONLY thing we all share. We are wonderfully, brilliantly, happily, horrifically, brutally, hysterically, beautifully human.

We are alive and with each breath and heartbeat capable of loving. In every moment choose love. It becomes the field that leaves fertile ground for those generations after us, for those builders of this new earth we have so carefully held for their arrival.

Welcome 2019 with an open and willing heart.

Leave those pointing fingers behind and wrap them around someone’s hand instead.

Next year, follow only one lead. Your heart will guide you always towards love. Whatever trends, explodes, shouts or tweets around you, remember this: The goal of division has been realized. This was not your goal, but an experimentation in manipulation of energy and emotion. This time now is for another purpose and a different goal. Pick one that serves you, that helps your fellow human, that promotes love, that allows expansion, that facilitates growth, that bolsters prosperity, that provides healing and that feels like joy.

You get to. It’s your turn.

You are the one you’ve been waiting for.
You have anchored the light.
It is done.
