My passion for helping others started many years ago. The passing of my Mother in 2008, after 8 years of ill-health, was not only a deeply sad time, but one of a great awakening. The saying of “you can’t take it with you when you die” really hit me. This moved me further towards exploring my own journey and values even more deeply, and what seemed to be of higher importance was not my material world, but making sure I was investing in my health and happiness. I take great pride in taking care of myself and enjoying great health. It’s our number one asset really! Today, as a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach, I passionately help others with their health and weight goals so that they become a priority in their own life.
The type of food and the quality of food that we eat are without a doubt important. However, in addition to sharing detailed information about healthy nutrition, one of the areas that I focus on is the food that does not come on a plate! This is known as Primary Food! It’s what nourishes us at a deeper level. Things like relationships, career, spirituality, and social life, to name a few, are very important to our overall health. I help people to put the pieces of their life puzzle together so they can see what the “real” issue is. This transforms their relationship with food and themselves into a positive one.

Did you know that avocados …..
1. Have close to 20 essential health-boosting nutrients including fiber, potassium (more than twice the amount found in bananas!), vitamin E, B vitamins and folic acid.

Super Nutritious mix:
This is so quick and easy to make. Swiss chard stems, bok choy, celery, onion, artichokes, chilli beans, broccoli, kelp with garlic, cilrantro and dill. All cooked in grapeseed oil (high smoke content) and ghee (clarified butter). Delish! Use any of your favorite ingredients and experiment!
