DNC purge: Corrupt Democratic National Committee fires ALL staffers DNC cleaning house after election loss

(INTELLIHUB) — New Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has asked the entire staff of the DNC to turn in their resignation letters amid major party turmoil after November’s stunning defeat, according to a report by NBC News.
The report claims that sources have revealed that shortly after Perez was elected as party chairman, an adviser for disgraced outgoing DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile asked every employee to submit a letter of resignation by April 15.
“A committee advising Perez on his transition is now interviewing staff and others as part of a top-to-bottom review process to decide not only who will stay and who will go, but how the party should be structured in the future,” reported NBC News.
Despite claims by some in the party that this is normal, we are clearly seeing a response to not only the Democrats losing the election but also controversy within the party after it was revealed that most of the DNC worked against Bernie Sanders in the primary.
Noting that 2016 was one of the most difficult years ever for the party, the NBC report continued, “It began with accusations that the DNC favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary, continued with the wrenching exposure of hacked emails and the abrupt resignation of former chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and concluded with the shocking defeat of its presidential nominee and a divisive race for the new party chairman.”
Keep in mind that the so-called “accusations” are in reality absolute fact and that is was not only Schultz who worked against Sanders as it was also revealed by Wikileaks that Brazile herself had given the Clinton campaign questions that were going to be asked at a CNN town hall.
After months of denial, Brazile admitted the mistake while blaming the Russians for the entire fiasco.
Clearly we are seeing a major shakeup within the Democratic Party and when you consider Perez’s ties to the establishment it only makes sense that this is a purge of the pro-Sanders wing of the party.
Remember, some within the DNC openly rebelled against the party elite after it was revealed that they had been working against Sanders, even going as far as holding a vote to abolish the super delegate rule. Although the vote failed, 58 delegates voted for it.
As we reported at the time, “Though a stinging defeat for those who campaigned in favor of the rule change, spearheaded largely by Bernie Sanders delegates and progressive advocacy groups, supporters took solace that because more than one-quarter of the committee voted ‘yes’ they will able to introduce a minority report during the full convention next week and demand a floor vote.”
